Arts Intensive 2026 Courses

Main content start

Arts Intensive is a Creative Community

The closest you'll get to being in an art college at Stanford. Arts Intensive offers students time to focus on a single, project-based arts class with campus faculty and guest artists. The courses provide the unique opportunity to create in small class sizes outside of the pressures of the regular academic year. At its best, the program creates an atmosphere of intense artistic exploration, encouraging collaboration and innovation. All levels of experience are welcome in all classes.

Interested in staffing an Arts Intensive course? AIAs work closely with a single course to support hands-on learning and build student community. Applications due February 18.

For students returning next fall, Arts Intensive 2026 runs from Sunday August 30 to Friday September 18. Check out the Calendar to see how Arts Intensive fits into your summer, and apply by Tuesday April 14.
