Arts Intensive 2026 Courses
Arts Intensive is a Creative Community
The closest you'll get to being in an art college at Stanford. Arts Intensive offers students time to focus on a single, project-based arts class with campus faculty and guest artists. The courses provide the unique opportunity to create in small class sizes outside of the pressures of the regular academic year. At its best, the program creates an atmosphere of intense artistic exploration, encouraging collaboration and innovation. All levels of experience are welcome in all classes.

Design for Silver and Bronze
Learn piercing saw work, light forming, inlay and lost wax casting.
Beyond the Garment: A Wearable Art Exploration
This studio course will practice the basic tools of garment construction as a platform to create clothing that embraces fashion, sculpture and more!
Narrative Filmmaking: From Script to Screen
Complete a 2-3 minute narrative film in this hybrid writing/production course.
Keynotes: A Piano and Voice Exploration
The objective of the course is twofold: to build piano skills, improve music reading skills and music theory knowledge; and to develop vocal production, sight-sing skills and ensemble experience.
Immersive Music Production and Performance
Delve into music production in this project-based course, from studio recording to immersive mixing. Create soundscapes, virtual instruments, and 3D songs while building your technical and creative skills.
SFxLA Arts Immersion
Dive into the dynamic histories of Black and Brown artists in both Los Angeles and the greater Bay Area.
