Share your academic and artistic passion with younger students, build lasting mentoring relationships with faculty, and enhance your leadership and organizational skills.

All SoCo and Arts Intensive courses have two student staff, respectively Sophomore College Assistants (SCAs) or Arts Intensive Apprentices (AIAs), selected by the faculty for the course. SCAs and AIAs live in the residence halls with their students and use time outside class to foster collaborative and experiential learning. SCAs and AIAs build community in the course and deepen students' intellectual and artistic engagement, as well as manage logistics necessary to make hands-on experiential learning happen.
